Hold one finger anywhere on the screen and Lewis steers toward it, with no swiping needed. Lift or move your finger to change direction. The camera always follows your head.

⚡ Speed gives +40% speed for a few seconds. 🐌 Slow drops your speed by 25% for tight steering. 🛡 Shield makes you invulnerable for 10 seconds. 🧲 Magnet pulls nearby food into your mouth. Rival snakes can use them too.

The red, spiky bombs cannot be eaten. Brushing one costs you 5 segments. Each bomb has a visible countdown; when it reaches zero it explodes and clears every snake segment in the blast (yours and your rivals'). If your head is caught in the blast it is game over, unless a shield is active.

By default the game follows your device language and falls back to English. To change it manually, open Settings in the game and pick from 28 languages; it switches instantly, no restart required. Arabic also flips the layout to right to left.

Your best length is stored locally on your device, separately for each difficulty (Easy, Normal, Hard, Extreme), and synced to your own iCloud if you use one. Game Center leaderboards are optional. Deleting the app clears local scores.

Lewis the Snake is a universal app that runs on both iPad and iPhone, with its own app icon and launch screen, adapting to every screen size.

Because scores are stored only on your device and never sent to us, we cannot recover them if the app is deleted or the device is reset. They may be included in your own encrypted device backups (iCloud or Finder), which you control.
